We've been pretty busy behind the scenes lately, and if you've been following VMX for a while, you might've noticed a few changes.
We've given our Steam and Meta pages a fresh coat of paint, completely reworked the Discord, brought some new faces onto the community team, and we're getting ready to be a lot more active with you guys.
So, we figured this was a good time to sit down and show you what's been going on.
🎮 Steam Got Some Love
Our Steam page was starting to need a little love, so we've been cleaning things up.
We've rewritten the short description and About section to better show what VMX is all about, and we've also improved the Discussions.
We now have dedicated spaces for Support, Bug Reports, and Feedback & Suggestions, each with handy pinned info to make getting help or sharing feedback a bit easier.
Check it out today:
🥽 Meta Got Some Love Too
We couldn't give Steam all the attention.
The VMX Meta page has been refreshed too, with a new short description and an updated About section that does a much better job of showing what you'll actually be getting up to in VMX.
We're getting everything ready as we move closer to bringing VMX to Meta Quest, and we'll have more to share with you guys as we get closer.

💬 We Rebuilt the Discord
If you've been in the Discord recently, you've probably noticed that we moved some furniture around... okay, quite a lot of furniture.
We've reworked the server to make everything easier to find, added a new onboarding system, cleaned up the roles, improved support, and added a few new toys.
🎫 Tickets
Just one thing: tickets aren't a secret hotline to the devs. 😅 They're there so you can send us proper bug reports, support requests, and useful information that we can organize and get to the right people.
🏷️ Roles
New role channel + reaction roles.
🔊 Join to Create
Jump in → get your own voice channel → invite your crew → channel disappears when everyone leaves.
👋 Onboarding
Explain that joining and finding the channels people actually care about should now be much easier.
We're still tweaking things, so if something sucks, something's confusing, or you've got an idea that would make the server better, tell us. Seriously.
Join the rest of the community and us! https://discord.gg/9YkJkKVt7v
📱 You'll Be Seeing More of Us
We've also freshened up the VMX socials with some new banners, but more importantly, we're going to start actually bothering you guys more often.
Expect more gameplay, clips, tricks, development stuff, community posts, events, playtests, and whatever else we think is worth sharing.
Basically: less radio silence, more VMX.
If you haven’t followed or checked it out yet, do it!

👋 Some New Faces Have Joined the Crew
You might've also spotted a few new names popping up around the place.
@PentaDemon, @krogansushi, and @MikeRoss have joined the VMX crew.
They'll look after Discord and socials, work with the moderators, organize events and playtests, collect your feedback, and generally help us grow this thing alongside you guys.
So if you see them lurking around Discord, say hi. 👋
🚲 Where Do We Go From Here?
Well... hopefully somewhere fun.
This is really just us getting everything into place. We want to share more of what we're working on, talk to you guys more often, run events and playtests, and give you more opportunities to get involved with VMX.
And yeah, we've got plenty more to show you.
Until next session. 🤘
