I'm excited to share a new scene in Cafe New York 9/11: Sameer’s peaceful afternoon at the park with his family.
This park is one of Sameer’s favorite places — where he takes his family to enjoy ice cream, watch the kids play, and momentarily escape the rush of city life. The laughter of children, the sound of distant traffic, and the skyline above capture a fleeting sense of calm and normalcy.
But beyond the trees, the Twin Towers rise quietly in the distance, a subtle reminder of the world around them — and of what’s yet to come.
This scene captures the heart of what Cafe New York 9/11 is about: everyday lives, ordinary joys, and how fragile and precious those moments can be.
Thank you for walking with me through these quiet moments as we continue to tell this story, scene by scene.
