Wild Roots – Patch Notes v1.0.3 (12/28/2025)
Farming & Build Fixes
Fixed an issue that allowed all crop types to be planted on rice paddies when using Bulk Plant. Rice paddies now only accept appropriate crops.
Performance & Stability Improvements
Reduced the size and lifetime of tractor smoke particles to improve visibility while driving.
Increased the maximum number of objects allowed in-game to help prevent late-game crashes when large numbers of crops are active.
Crop icons are now hidden until hovered, reducing screen clutter and improving performance.
UI & Controls
Fixed an issue where the current mode text at the bottom of the HUD would remain visible after exiting the tractor.
Fixed the Toggle Inventory [Tab] key so it now properly opens and closes the inventory as intended.
This update focuses on smoothing out performance in large farms, cleaning up lingering UI issues, and improving overall stability as your operation grows. Thanks for playing, and happy farming!
