Creating a new story is much easier now. Start with a short concept, hit create, and Deskie drafts the core setup for you.
- Auto-generated core setup: Title, background, opening, and character setup are generated together.

Story Updates Now Feel More Like RPG Feedback
Story chats now show in-scene updates, such as relationship or state changes, right when they happen.
Important shifts are easier to catch in the moment and easier to spot again in chat history.
New Emotion Voices
We added several new voices with emotion support and upgraded some existing voices with emotional delivery support as well.
In the voice tab, emotion levels now appear as Emotion, Emotion+, and Emotion++.
More + means a stronger expressive range, including styles like happy, fear, calm slowdown, and ASMR.
Story Cover Image Generation
You can now generate images for your story cover directly in the story creation flow.
This is our first step for story image generation, with more image-generation use cases planned in future updates.
Public-First Publishing
To keep the ecosystem healthier for everyone, publishing now focuses on public-ready content.
After publishing, content goes through review before appearing in public listings. Local drafts are unchanged for private iteration, testing, and personal use.
Choose Your Microphone
If you use voice input, you can now choose which microphone Deskie listens to in Settings, which helps when multiple audio devices are connected.
Smarter Background + BGM Matching
We added new backgrounds and BGMs, and improved matching so scene visuals and music fit the current moment more naturally.
Bug Fixes And Polish
Various fixes landed across story chat, voice flow, publishing, plus general stability and performance.
