Greetings fellow wizardkin,
Daan & Jonas here. A grand total of 2683 of you have played the game so far (be it the playtest or the demo), so we'd like to thank each and every one of you! We've had so many kind messages and great feedback and we're super grateful. Special shout out to the freaks who played more than 5 hours, y'all crazy.
Haven't had enough of Bibidi yet? Then we have exciting news for you! We've just launched a new playable character: Beatrix Chaudron, the Wandering Witch of the West. She's a freshly graduated witch on her Forever Pilgrimage, a journey to find purpose in a community. But for some inscrutable reason it led her straight to the Wishing Well, a dank dungeon with the stench of Wizards all over it!
The Witch
Beatrix finds an ever-stalwart companion in her Cauldron, a sentient pot that requires constant sacrifice as sustenance. If you put a card in the Cauldron's mouth, it gets destroyed permanently, but it's Force lingers for subsequent spells as you fuel the fires of its magic.
With this we once again hope to recontextualize the mechanics into completely different play styles. Do you sacrifice high Force cards and ride its coattails? Will you keep acquiring cheap fodder cards to feed the fire? Will you try to circumvent sacrificing cards altogether?
Re-opening the Playtest
Want to try her out before anyone else? You can! Because we're re-opening the public playtest RIGHT NOW! There should be a big button on the Bibidi Bibidi! Steam page that says "Request Access". If you click on it, you will automatically be granted access to the playtest, and it will be available in your library as "Bibidi Bibidi! Playtest", which is different from the Demo.
