TACTICAL AIDS IN PROHIBEAST
TIME ACCELERATION
Time is no longer a constraint... it's a weapon.
With the acceleration feature, you can skip minutes in seconds:
Enemy patrols move faster.
Missions end sooner.
Opportunities arise at the perfect moment.
HIGHLIGHTING ELEMENTS
The highlight feature is a visual aid that highlights interactive elements in the level with a distinct colored outline.
Its main purpose is to improve the readability of the environment by making it easier to quickly identify strategic elements.
This mechanism applies to different types of characters:
Playable characters are highlighted with a colored outline depending on the character being played (for exemple Elliot in blue),
Civilian NPCs with a yellow outline.
Enemy NPCs with a red outline.
Finally, interactive scenery elements such as hiding places, passages, traps, or manipulable objects appear surrounded by a white outline, which turns green when you hover over them with the mouse, in order to distinguish them from the color code used for characters.
TACTICAL MODE
PROHIBEAST's tactical mode allows you to slow down time in order to plan the actions of several playable characters at the same time, helping you analyze the situation, coordinate movements, and synchronize actions in complex moments.
When you activate Tactical Mode, time slows down and a black-and-white filter with an old VHS tape effect covers the screen.
Interactive elements are highlighted, allowing the player to easily spot them and prepare their actions with multiple characters.
Once you've planned your strategy, all you have to do is execute it: time resumes its course, the visual effect disappears, and your characters perform their actions simultaneously, allowing them to effectively coordinate their movements and attacks in complex situations.
