Hey Rifters! We’re excited to share that the next public playtest will be kicking off August 7 at 10am EDT.
This is a major milestone for the team as we continue working hard towards Early Access release. We can’t wait to open the rift once more and invite you back to Pioneers’ Landing.
PUBLIC STRESS TEST
We are announcing this public stress test well in advance to give all players who wish to participate the opportunity to do so.
This open beta test is all about:
- Stress-testing our servers and matchmaking improvements
- PvP games will now prefer to match players into groups of similar size
- Gathering critical feedback on system improvements, such as updated gun combat
- Identifying bugs and issues across a broader player base
- Seeing how YOU play so we can continue fine-tuning the player experience
- We will be implementing machine-translated text for all supported languages to test the localization system itself, so the text may not always be accurate. We are still working with a localization partner to have official translations for day 1 of Early Access.
WHEN & HOW
- Date and time: August 7 at 10am EDT until August 11 at 10am EDT
- Access: Free for everyone, on Steam!
If you’ve already followed and wishlisted us on Steam, you’ll be notified the moment the test goes live!
YOUR FEEDBACK
We’ve been building Lost Rift with the core belief that player feedback makes our game stronger, which is why we value your participation in our playtests. Your voice helps shape the direction of the game, and tests like this one are our way of checking that we’re continuing on the right track.
During the playtest period, we’ll be actively monitoring:
- Steam forums
- Discord feedback channel
- Discord and Steam forum bug reports
- Your content on YouTube and Twitch
- We are also launching our brand new subreddit, r/LostRiftGame! If you prefer to use Reddit, join our page and post your playtest hype there, too!
Don’t forget to wishlist Lost Rift on Steam to stay in the loop and get notified when Early Access launches.
We will see you in Pioneers’ Landing very soon!
