Hey Lair Masters!
We've been working hard behind the scenes, and we're so excited to finally share what's been cooking. This update is packed (pun intended) with improvements, new content, and quality-of-life changes that we think you're going to love. Let's dive in!
New Buildings Are Here!
Five brand-new buildings are joining the roster and will be available to you right from the start. More options, more strategies, more ways to build your perfect lair. We can't wait to see what you come up with!
Power Changes & Economy Rebalance
We've been listening to your feedback, and we've taken a hard look at building stats and how the in-game economy flows. Expect things to feel a lot more balanced and rewarding as you play through. Example: Increased overall Gold scaling and reduced multiple building costs
Balance Pass
Alongside the economy changes, we've done a full balance pass across the game to make sure everything feels fair and fun, whether you're a first-time player or a seasoned lair builder.
Codex (A Peek at What's Coming)
Ever wondered what certain buildings do, how they affect your strategy, or how many buildings the full game has in store? The new Codex gives you a preview of the full game's content. Think of it as your in-game encyclopedia with a little teaser of the bigger picture!
Easy and Hard Mode
We want Packed Lair to be enjoyable for everyone. Whether you're looking for a relaxed build experience or a serious challenge, Easy and Hard mode have you covered.
Rich Presence
Show off what you're up to! Rich Presence is now supported, so your friends can see exactly what you're doing in Packed Lair.
Change Settings Mid-Game
No more quitting out to tweak your settings. You can now adjust settings on the fly, right from within a game session.
Performance Improvements
We've made significant improvements to performance during the combat phase, so things should feel smoother and snappier than ever.
(We also left a bit of a teaser on the main menu for a new mode we will include with the full game on release!)
Well, that's everything in this update! Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Your support and feedback keep us motivated every single day. Stay tuned for more updates. And as always, join the Discord and let your friends know to Wishlist the game. We appreciate all of you!
