Ahoy there, sea dogs!
Even the most fearless captain cannot survive the Cursed Seas alone. But in Curse of Pirates, there will always be those willing to sail under yer colors… if they deem ye worthy.
Each companion is not just a sidekick, but a full-fledged member of yer crew with their own story, personality, and unique combat style.
Meet Astrid Flameheart, daughter of the legendary pirate Azrael. Betrayed by her own crew and friends, she was resurrected by fire itself — and now burns with an unstoppable thirst for revenge!
She commands the power of flame. With Astrid by yer side, you’ll spread burning tar across the waves, turning them into a deadly mire, drown enemies in molten lava, and summon meteors and fiery storms from the sky. She will teach ye how to deal devastating damage to entire groups of enemies at once.
Meet Lord Darkbone, cursed by an ancient shaman for sins long forgotten and doomed to wander the seas forever, unable to set foot on land again.
Poison is his weapon of choice. Under Lord Darkbone’s protection, yer ship will become the most toxic vessel across the Seven Seas. Summon ghosts that hunt down enemies on their own, infect foes with deadly poison, and — if ye dare — transform yourself into a ghost, passing through hordes of enemies while leaving destruction in yer wake.
Meet Edric Stormblade, a brutal rocker born in the heart of a storm, with an electric guitar that never leaves his hands.
He wields the power of electricity! The moment his fingers touch the strings, enemies are struck by the full force of lightning and thunderous fury. Tap into his source of power and you’ll be able to trap enemies in electric chains and unleash devastating critical strikes.
And finally, meet Zar'kul the Mad, the mysterious voice of the dark depths. Some call him insane. Others believe him to be a prophet of ancient sea monsters. Zar'kul himself stopped seeing the difference long ago.
He draws his strength from the Ocean itself! This allows Zar'kul to summon horrors from the deep and turn madness against yer enemies. With him, you’ll command ancient ocean powers: colossal tentacles, storms of piranhas, and whirlwinds that leave enemies helpless. His signature effect, “Curse,” first deals massive damage to foes, then spreads that damage among all those marked by the curse.
With a crew like this, you’ll fear no storm, no cannons of the Dominion, and not even the Sea Devil himself! Choose yer allies, combine their blessings, and create yer perfect build. Become a legend of the Seven Seas!
And we’ll let ye in on a little secret: we’ve already found a new ally for ye and will soon sign a pirate contract with them. To make sure ye don’t miss the announcement, follow the game and add Curse of Pirates to your Wishlist.
We continue polishing the deck of Curse of Pirates according to our roadmap. Thank ye for sailing alongside us on this journey! Visit our Discord tavern and share yer sea tales over a mug of fiery rum!
Yo-ho, see ye on the high seas!
