Now, let's break down everything waiting for you here.
Scene, gameplay, and material optimizations:
One issue with the previous version was real-world performance on different devices. We did a full sweep with optimizations, impacting gameplay and the map rendering system. For the nerds: LODs were redone, we migrated London to a World Partition system, and we also reworked several processes tied to how our Blueprints run. In the end, it made a huge impact.
Quality of Life improvements for the quest system
We made some updates to the quest system so tracking and objectives communicate better. This is just the start, but more updates are coming to this area soon.
Reworked Spawn System and combat music tracks
Like we said above, our Blueprints were reworked. Even though we understand the impact of each part of the game's flow a bit better now, the topic can sound kinda boring. But nothing that a much cleaner "If" or "Else" can't save your CPUs from!
Also, our soundtrack triggers were reworked. It'll take less time to notice the adaptive soundtrack and the orchestra created by our characters' combat climax.
Improved Cecil textures
To better adjust our Legendary Explorer's color palette, we fixed some issues and reworked part of his texture, plus gave him a good dose of Kale so he'd look less "anemic". One highlight: he now has a sleeping bag that really matches his face. Full of... Personality.
Re-implemented controller support
Controllers are back with full support! You can test your DualShock playing Hivaneph to have fun with Cecil, Ana, and soon, James.
Changed controller button mapping
We changed the controller mapping. We're testing and checking what players think about it. Feel free to tell us what you thought of the game's controls.
Implemented World Map System

Now you can open the general map of London to see where you are and which locations are nearby. More updates for this system coming soon.
Added Tutorial Recap menu

Missed some info or just skipped without reading? You can recap the game's tutorials and get the info. Just pause and access the "Tutorials" menu.
Created dozens of new dialogues for NPCs across the map

No more monotonous dialogues. We fixed the dialogues and now our characters have names and tell more of our city's story. We hope you like it!
Improved Minimap functionality
The minimap works now, and way better. With a more readable texture and some subtitles indicating the location visited, you won't get lost anymore.
Added Force-Feedback support (controller vibration)
A cool addition is that, during combat, dealing and taking damage trigger controller vibrations, improving feedback even more.
Fixed recurring bugs in quests and mechanics
We got some of your feedback about mechanics, bugged quests, and some tweaks we needed to make. We fixed everything and we're keeping an eye out in case anything comes up that our dinosaurs haven't checked yet.
And... that's our patch note for today!
We should have more content in the coming weeks, so get ready for more info.
Thank you for supporting us and for being part of this legend.
