👋 We are thrilled to present this new update! We listened to your feedback and worked tirelessly to make exploring this fallen world more narrative, more immersive, and more enjoyable to traverse.
What's New in this Update !!
🌍 Expanded World: New environments and a Chapter 2 extended by +33%!
📖 Deepened Lore: The lore of the ancient builders is vaster and more explicit.
🎮 Total Control: The game is now 100% playable and configurable on a gamepad.
🎨 Pure Immersion: New minimalist interface and a complete overhaul of the menus.
🌲 And much more !!
🌑 A Vaster and More Detailed Adventure
The tragic story expands..
We reworked the lore to make it vaster, more detailed, but also clearer so you can better understand the mysteries of this universe. The world has also evolved: many in-game details have been added, Chapter 1 benefits from brand new environments (vines, rocks, new structures, and new vegetation).
Chapter 2, meanwhile, has been considerably lengthened (+33% in length) to extend the experience in these infernal swamps !! We also brought new features to Chapter 3 to make it simpler, but without removing its difficulty !! The end of Chapter 5 has also been reworked.. But I won't reveal the details here..
💧 A Solitary and Unique Journey
Only one save slot !!
We redesigned the progression system. There is now only one save slot instead of three; this greatly simplifies the interface, the number of buttons could be reduced which previously lost players in-game.
Steam Achievements have been modified, with new images and new names, however they are still obtained in the same way. At the same time we fixed the in-game achievements bug (the display in the menu).
Moreover, the in-game interface has been changed, and you can now hide the timer as well as the on-screen buttons according to your immersion preferences.
🕹️ Balancing and Gameplay
More checkpoints !!!!
Your survival still requires precision, but frustration must not take over. We listened to you and increased the number of checkpoints to allow you to tackle certain difficult sections more smoothly (For example Chapter 1 went from 7 checkpoints to 17).
Regarding controls, the game is now fully playable on a gamepad, with a brand new configuration system for perfect sensations (while keeping our input system optimized for keyboard/mouse players).
🏕️ Demo Update
Test the beginning of the game for free !!
The game demo has also been updated to follow the continuity with the game, with still a limit at the end of Chapter 1 (which means 20% of the game), but it is now possible to resume your game at the end of Chapter 1 on the base game, which is useful for those who do not wish to replay Chapter 1 from the beginning.
