Hello Everyone;

Apologies for the delay in patch notes; we ended up pushing the patch out late on Friday.

Updates!

The Clientside update is now live on all steam branches.

The exciting new feature this brings is Direct Messages/Whispers!

You can type /w , /whisper or /dm to send a DM to a player. This can also be triggered from the context menu when targeting them or on a chat message sent by them. The UX of this should be largely improved with the addition of a friends list, which is coming very soon, as well as better commands for replying to incoming DMs.

The other notable features included are:

Watchtower sieges can now be started without touching the watchtower. Walk within range of a Watchtower which is marked for siege while holding a capsule and use the context menu on it to start the siege and place the cannon from afar. This should reduce the annoyance from players attempting to make watchtowers unreachable. This is not a total solution, but should make this a lot harder to do, and we plan to resolve this fully through further changes.

We also made some backend tweaks to the marketplace. This is what was preventing buying multiple of an item in the previous client but should work correctly now. This should prevent a few issues where players could sometimes buy something for more than they expected. We have some further improvements we are going to make to this to make the UX even more airtight, but this should be a big improvement.

Finally this update will unlock one more piece of new content which is the new T2 Furniture recipes! They will be available from Brico on the next task reset.
