Hey everyone! I'm thrilled to announce the next big update for Coffie Simulator: the Blends & Bakes Update! I've been working hard on some major additions to make your cafe more vibrant, immersive, and customizable than ever. Here's a sneak peek at what's arriving at the end of the month!
> Express Yourself: Player Customization <
Show off your personal flair! We've added a full customization menu for your character. Mix and match headwear, facewear, tops, aprons, and accessories to create the perfect look for your busy barista shifts.
You can even switch between different animal characters! Dogs, cats, foxes, bunnies and more! Each with 5+ unique textures to choose from. Make your barista truly yours!
> Hot Meals & Frozen Treats <
Your customers are craving more than just a standard brew and a cake!
The Furnace: Hot food is finally here! Prep and serve delicious items like newly added sandwiches, croissants, cookies whenever your customers get hungry!
The Blender: An all-new machine type! Instead of just working with cups, you'll need to toss specific ingredients directly into the blender. Fire it up, mix everything together, and serve up brand-new frozen versions of your favorite drinks!
> A Lively Neighborhood <
The streets outside your cafe are getting a major upgrade! Pedestrians are much smarter now, they'll actually stop to chat with you.
You'll also spot some brand-new animal NPCs roaming around town, including an adorable fox and bunny, with more on the way!
New Custom NPCs: Meet unique new characters visiting your shop, complete with their own little stories to discover.
> Maintain Your Gear (or Don't!) <
To keep things immersive without getting repetitive, we're introducing an optional Machine Durability mechanic. Over time, your machines will wear down and loose it's overall quality!
Grab your trusty hammer to fix them up!
Play Your Way: Don't want the extra stress? Both Durability and Thieves can be toggled on or off in real time from the pause menu. They're completely disabled by default on Cozy Cat difficulty, but permanently locked ON if you're brave enough for Hardcore.
> Ultimate Cafe Makeover <
Take your interior design to the next level! We're adding new furniture and machine variants, including interactive LCD TVs that you can switch on with a remote.
Your countertops are also getting a massive overhaul:
Interactable shelves added to countertops.
Deep customization for countertop colors and materials, customize the top, wood base, bottom, and shelf doors independently!
Tons of new texture options for the ground, walls, and wooden elements to perfectly match your cafe's aesthetic.
> More Additions & Fixes <
Alongside the big features above, this update brings:
In-Game Save Customization: Tweak your save file settings (like changing your difficulty) directly from the in-game menu.
Bug Fixes: A whole lot of under-the-hood stability improvements and bug squashing to keep everything running smoothly.
Quality of Life Improvements: Not sure how to use the new Blender or Furnace? Don't worry, I've added helpful in-game guidance along with a ton of other QoL improvements, including better gamepad support, a revamped settings page, and much more!
The First Month of Coffie Simulator 🐈
Before we wrap up, I wanted to take a moment to look back at our first month, and say a huge thank you. When I launched Coffie Simulator, I honestly didn't know what to expect. The response from all of you has been incredible.
Every review, every bug report, every suggestion in the discussions, I've read them all, and they've made a real difference. In just the first month, I've fixed nearly 150 issues across multiple patches, making the game significantly more stable and polished than it was at launch.
None of that would have been possible without your feedback. You've helped shape this game just as much as I have. I want you all to know that I'm not going anywhere. Coffie Simulator is a project I'm deeply passionate about, and I'm committed to supporting and expanding it for a long time to come. There are so many ideas I'm excited to bring to life, and this is only the beginning. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for playing, for believing in this little cafe, and for being part of this journey. You all mean the world to me.
What's Next?
The Blends & Bakes Update drops at the end of this month!
Oh, and one more thing… 1–4 Player Co-op is currently in progress! Soon, you won't have to run the cafe alone. Stay tuned for more news on that front. Thank you all for playing and supporting Coffie Simulator!
See you behind the counter! ☕
