ver. 1.0.2: Change to Timeout Behavior

The Ver. 1.0.2 Update for holoReversi is now live!

The following changes and fixes have been made:

Update Details

  • [Timeout Behavior Adjustment] The action taken when a player's time runs out during a match has been changed. Before: The player would pass their turn. After: A stone is now placed at a random valid position.

  • [Skill Info Window Bug Fix] Fixed an issue where the “Skill Info” window could not be operated with a gamepad during online and offline 2P matches.

  • [Result Screen Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that could cause the game to become unresponsive on the result screen.

  • [Character Select Screen in Online Matches] Player names are now displayed for both yourself and your opponent during the online character selection screen.

  • [Incorrect Skill Description] Corrected an error in the Japanese description of a skill. Before: Place a stone on the selected square and forcibly flip the 8 surrounding tiles. After: Place a stone on the selected square and flip in an X-shaped pattern to the edge of the board.

Other minor updates:

  • Fixed sound effects that were not playing in certain scenes.

  • Adjusted the display size of the reverse side of the stones.

We’ve been keeping a close eye on feedback from both Japan and abroad, including comments on social media and the Steam Community.

There are certainly areas where we still fall short, and I’m a little embarrassed about that—but we’re committed to improving the game based on everyone’s input.

We’ll continue working to create an environment where all Hololive fans can enjoy the game while fully appreciating their favorite talents.

Thank you for your continued support of holoReversi.
