ADVENTURE MODE
- The first time you enter an adventure, you'll start in a practice room where you can try out the controls.
- The controls have been simplified. Lock-on is removed; the fire button now always auto-aims at the nearest target. Manual aim using the twin stick is still available, and instead of increasing damage it now increases the firing rate so you can notice the difference.
- The Wide Shot has been removed and turned into a fairly powerful bomb that clears enemy bullets. You get 3 per run.
- Your bullets now have a very slight amount of homing to better hit enemies that move quickly. Mike and Sakuya's bullets have also gained this feature.
- Adjusted/normalized follower DPS. They usually do about half of Minoriko's DPS, with some extra area saturation or shotgun potential. They are no longer affected by attack buffs, however.
- There are fewer enemy waves per stage, and they come faster.
- Big fairies will now appear in stages 3 and 5. They are fairly strong, beware!
- Each zone has a new alternate boss. Which of the two you encounter is random.
- The reward "budget" now scales harder with Faith Level, increased from 1.5x at Faith Level 10 to 2x.
- Loot is now less likely to roll low quality and more likely to roll multiples (the exact numbers involved are complicated).
- If you have open Requests for items that the Adventure Zone can drop (or for cooked food with a relevant ingredient), you are guaranteed to get one of them if you complete the run. This can only happen once per request.
- HARD MODE will become available in Winter Year 1. It increases enemy hp by 1/3, doubles enemy damage, and also doubles the loot budget.
OTHER CHANGES
- Added a tutorial entry that recaps what the Adventure Zone intro text says.
- Miracle Mart food is now substantially cheaper, although it also restores less power, which should help with your adventuring profit margins.
- Milk and Cheese can now be eaten directly and are decent 1 portion foods. (Previously, low quality versions of these items from adventuring were useless unless sold since they can't be used for cooking. You can now enjoy drinking low quality milk.)
- The amount of points required for each friendship level have been reduced by about 25% overall. If giving maximum value gifts, it now takes about one full season to max out friendship.
- Greenhouses now default to OFF when built to avoid overloading your generator.
- You can now craft bone meal with loaches. (Bone meal now appears in the crafting menu twice to avoid overflowing the UI.)
- The silo's true form is revealed!
FIXES
- A chicken that is picked up while returning to the coop will now return home properly instead of wandering offscreen.
- Fixed grafted saplings not becoming translucent when unusable in item selection menus.
- Fixed the "crop ready" lights on greenhouses not working properly.
- Prevented magatama targeting from wrapping around the map (most noticeable in greenhouses).
- Fixed an order of operations issue preventing a stalled generator from killing your crops as intended.
- You can no longer attempt to place a Grafted Sapling in a greenhouse, which caused a crash.
- Added a failsafe for the day ending at 2 AM while using fast travel.
- Fixed followers giving their goodbye message when not flying back to the farm.
- Fixed the workbench only allowing you to craft bone meal with normal quality fish.
- Fixed the nighttime ambience playing when starting a new day.
