Today marks the final day of Steam Next Fest, and we’d like to sincerely thank everyone who played the demo, left feedback, or shared your thoughts with us!
We’ve received a tremendous amount of feedback over the past weeks, and our team has been carefully reviewing all of it. Based on your responses, we’re now planning improvements for both the demo and the upcoming full release.
Here’s what’s coming next:
1. Chapter 1 Story & Pacing Improvements
Many players pointed out inconsistencies in the flow of logic and story in Chapter 1—and we completely agree!
The full truth behind the case will be revealed later in the game, so please look forward to that.
We’ll also be adjusting the battle frequency to improve pacing and ensure a smoother experience.
2. Debate Battle UX Enhancements
We’re aware that some battle interfaces felt unintuitive. We’ll be doing a full revamp of the UX to make controls clearer and more responsive.
3. New Features in Story Mode
We’ll be adding essential functions like:
・Auto-play (AUTO)
・Skip
・Dialogue Log (LOG)
Some features like scroll-to-view-log or Ctrl-skip already exist, but weren’t clearly explained—these will be made more visible and accessible in future builds.
4. Controller Support
Controller functionality is currently in development, and we aim to provide full support in a future version.
5. Steam Deck Optimization
We’re working on making the game compatible with Steam Deck. Thank you for your patience while we implement and test this feature!
6. Performance Optimization
Some players experienced lag or stuttering—this is a high priority, and we’ll continue working on performance fixes. If you encounter major issues, feel free to contact us via social media or community forums.
