Closed Playtest Results
Hello, everyone!
Here’s the promised second piece of news for today. Earlier we held a closed test within our Discord community plus Devolver Digital also held a similar test via their BetaSquadron. The amount of feedback we’ve had to filter through and process was substantial to say the least and for that the whole dev team is would like to thank all the folks who took part in the test - your help and surveys were greatly appreciated! We’ve implemented many changes based on your feedback and now we’d like to share some of them with our amazing community. Here’s some of the feedback we’ve received and the changes we’ve made to the game (not direct quotes):
Impossible to differentiate hammer reactions
Completely new hammer reactions that are very easy to differentiate (I promise)
Base defense feels reaaaly bad
Many upgrades to base defence - abilities instead of consumables, new zombie types, tons of explosions, etc
Mathiascope usage experience and symptoms
UI improvements, reduced flashbang effect, improved symptoms
Low variety at the rule board (we’ve shared previously that custom inspection rules will be added)
New quests for the rule board with different storylines and goals
I want to know who was infected and what symptoms I missed
Improved daily report with all the info
Exhausting to use every tool on every survivor after midgame
Might wanna look at the new checkpoint upgrade
No symptoms for new tools when we get them
Guaranteed spawn of symptoms for new tools, many fixes to overall symptoms spawn and visuals (MANY MANY MANY)
Hire a new game designer
We did - we hired a 2nd one and he’d like to say hello: “Hello, my name is Igor, and I’m happy to be working at Brigada Games since this autumn”
