To celebrate the upcoming release, we also received a special comment from Tsukasa Masuko, who composed the BGM for the game!
Full message below:
I composed nearly 40 tracks for VARLET, including different arrangements.
During production, the word “VaperWave” even came up, but in the end, the music stayed true to my own style, fitting comfortably into what could be called my signature sound.
My ideal is for the music to blend seamlessly into the game—something you might not consciously recall, but suddenly remember when triggered by a moment. If you find yourself saying, “This track feels like Masuko,” and just let it wash over you, I’d be more than happy.
