Hey Disco Crew!
The Summer Flames Tour has been on one heck of a run, and we're not slowing down. More than 500,000 of you have joined the floor so far, and you keep showing up, racking up the combos, and making every stage your own. How do we top all of that? By throwing something at you that hits harder than anything you've seen yet.
Our biggest update is on the way, and it's built around a brand new Idol. It’s the most stylish, most demanding showdown we've ever put in front of Charlie. And this time, we're not keeping her in the dark.
Your newest idol is…almost got us there. We're holding her name back for the full reveal, so for now, take a good look at these clues we’ve been dropping. She's a natural-born star, all elegance and easy confidence up front, but a serious danger once the music starts. She looks glamorous but will dance circles around you (and makes it look effortless). She blossoms then burns.
You may have already caught her eyes watching from the dark. Now she's stepping into the light.
This Idol brings a brand new sound to the floor. Think Latin heat and Spanish piano, it prowls in like it owns the room. It's a genre color Dead as Disco has never worn before, and it fits her perfectly.
Somebody new has been practicing.
If you think the last Idol battles were tough, you’re in for a shock. This is the kind of fight the game has been building toward. New moves to learn, new ways to get wrecked if you're slipping, and a stage that will not sit still while you figure it out. It blooms, and then it burns. If Dead as Disco has ever made you feel like an absolute action hero, one perfect dodge away from disaster and one beat away from looking incredible doing it, this is that feeling turned all the way up.
Don't miss the reveal
We'll be dropping more across all our channels in the run-up, and the full reveal - her name, her song, and everything she brings with her - is closer than you think.
If you haven't already, follow Dead as Disco right here on Steam and add it to your Wishlist so it all lands straight in front of you. Trust us, you'll want a front-row seat for this one.
The stage is set. So channel your best Bowie and…Let's dance.
