Hi everyone!
It's been a few months since I last shared news about Medieval StartUp, but don't worry, development is still moving forward! 😄
Over the past few months, I've been working on what will be the biggest update since the game entered Early Access: version 1.0!
The work turned out to be more extensive than I initially expected, as I decided to overhaul several systems rather than simply patch them up.
Much smarter employees!
This is probably one of the biggest changes coming in this update.
The employee system has been completely reworked!
Until now, employees were limited to one job at a time, and their behavior wasn't always efficient, often requiring the player to step in.
With 1.0, employees will be able to work in multiple professions, giving you much more freedom to organize how your village runs.
The goal is simple: to let you truly delegate everyday tasks so you can focus on growing your tavern.
And that's just one of the many improvements planned for this update!

Quite a year!
Alongside development, another big adventure is on the horizon for me: I'm about to become the dad of a little girl! ❤️
Between this new chapter in my life and the scale of the changes I'm making to the game, development has taken a little longer than planned.
But we're getting close to the finish line!
See you in about a month!
I'm currently aiming to release version 1.0 in about a month.
There's still work to do, especially on final adjustments, testing, and overall stability, but most of the development is now behind me.
I can't wait to show you everything that's changed!
Thank you to everyone who keeps playing, sharing ideas, and reporting bugs. Your feedback has played a huge part in shaping version 1.0.
See you soon for more news!
