Every single day since release there has been an increase in players! Steam is promoting the game to a wider audience now and being picked up by several content creators. This is awesome but since there are so many players, more bugs and issues get highlighted, even rare bugs.
I’m a solo developer, but we are now slowly getting to a stable point. In a couple more patches I’d assume most of the issues will be gone!
Bug Fixes
Customers will now pick up multiple items for purchase via containers.
Fixed an issue causing stackable items purchased in containers to only be worth a single unit.
Fixed an issue preventing Security staff from gaining XP from combat even when Happy.
Fixed a bug preventing staff job role XP from saving correctly.
Fixed a bug allowing infinite Service XP when repeatedly dumping some items into the skip.
Fixed an issue where Cleaner staff were permanently stuck by the Job Board if an item or corpse was impossible for them to reach. (Cleaners are still not fully fixed but this fix will help!)
Changes
Slightly increased customer spawn rate at higher reputations.
Prevented Working TV and Durable Mattress from being sold as this was originally unintended.
Added higher Service XP gains from dumping Working TV and Durable Mattress into the skip due to their current lack of utility once upgrades achieved.
Improvements
Staff job role XP bars have been added for each role in their info window UI when assigning a job and at the Job Board.
Staff will now also gain passive Security XP periodically while on Security duty.
Fixed an exploit allowing for infinite Service XP to be gained using the skip.
Next up, I'm going to deep dive on the cleaners to ensure they work a bit harder and get stuck a lot less (after reviewing the changes from this patch and see how they perform). I'm also going to be turning my attention to pallets, containers and shelving bugs.
Make sure you are on 1.0.6 for these changes (Sometimes a steam log out, log in is required to get update)
Here's more my favorite shops/warehouses so far - its amazing what you guys can put together!
Thanks again,
Adam
