Important Announcement:
Here’s a very important update regarding the future of From Zero to Slime Hero, so please read until the end — thank you!
I’m excited to announce that I am currently developing a 3D version of the game, which will permanently replace the 2D version! This means that when you launch the game, you’ll immediately enter the new 3D environment instead of the old 2D one.
I don’t yet have a final answer on whether the 2D version will remain accessible... BUT in the meantime, you’ll be able to play it through an "Arcade Machine" located in the basement of your "Friend’s" house (the one with the green hoodie and blue eyes).
I don’t have a release date in mind yet, but I can assure you that I’m working tirelessly on this update.
Why the change?
There are two main reasons why I decided to move the game from 2D to 3D:
2D is far too complex, especially when it comes to sprites (characters, items, decorations, backgrounds, etc.) and even more so for animations, since everything must be drawn frame by frame — it’s a real headache.
3D is infinitely easier to work with, especially if you already have skills in 3D modeling and animation (which I do now).
I originally started this project in 2D because that was the level of programming knowledge I had back then—it was the only thing I knew how to do. But after countless hours of learning and practice, I’ve finally gained the skills needed to develop a game in 3D using the engine I work with.
Here are some sneak peeks:

Items now have rarities! Ranging from Common to Godly!
That’s all for this announcement — I hope you enjoyed it!
Again, I don’t know the exact release date yet. It’s getting closer, but it’s still unknown.
Thanks so much for your patience and for reading this far—cheers!
(And I’ll be adding a little secret in the game that only those who read the next announcement all the way to the end will discover ;D)
