As you might remember, we previously announced that Lost Ruins of Arnak was temporarily on hold. Since then, we have been positively surprised by your responses and the incredible patience you’ve shown us. Seeing support like that made one thing very clear: we really don't want to delay this game any longer than necessary. So, we sat down, re-evaluated our schedule, and shifted our resources. Today, we are happy to assure you that Arnak’s development was only paused for a few short weeks!
What’s going on here?
While most of our team is still working on our current mystery project (hopefully, we’ll be able to share more about that soon!), we’ve carved out some dedicated time to push Arnak forward. In fact, we are just putting the finishing touches on our tutorial and hint systems.
Up next are the short introductory campaigns for each leader... Wait, oh no! We hadn’t actually told you about those yet, had we? Well, I guess the secret is out, so we might as well fill you in! :-)
We are planning a short, story-driven campaign for every single leader to introduce them and expand on Arnak’s lore. These campaigns will give you a closer look at the unique strengths and weaknesses of each leader. By playing through them, jumping into regular games will feel much more intuitive. We also hope it makes the experience far more immersive once you get to know the leaders' personalities in deeper detail.
What’s Next?
Finishing these campaigns is our main goal for this upcoming summer. Meanwhile, as our mystery project wraps up, the entire team is incredibly excited to return to Lost Ruins of Arnak at full throttle. Our next major milestone is to deliver a playable demo to you this Autumn!
So, please stay tuned. Tell your friends—or honestly, anyone you pass on the street—about the game, and wish us luck! Together, we're going to make Lost Ruins of Arnak the best game we’ve ever released.
