Hi everyone!
We’re back with another update!
This time, we’ve focused on improving the bug reporting system, drones, quests, orders and trading, save management, controls, localization, Steam Deck settings, UI, and visuals.
Thank you, as always, for all the reports and feedback you’ve been sharing with us. Here’s what’s changed! 💚🌿
Bug Reporting
- Bug reports are now submitted in the background, so you no longer have to wait for the upload to finish on screen.
- Each bug report now includes a snapshot of your save from the moment the issue occurred, without affecting your regular autosaves.
- Screenshots attached to bug reports now capture the game and HUD without menus appearing over the image.
- The bug report window and recording settings are now localized into all 11 supported languages.
Localization
- Updated localization and improved translations across the game.
Save Files
- The save menu now opens immediately without the previous performance delay.
Controls
- The mouse wheel can now be used to switch between quick-access slots: scroll down for the next slot and up for the previous one.
- Mouse wheel slot switching also works with Painter skins.
Steam Deck
- Older installations where the benchmark previously selected Epic settings will now automatically switch to Medium settings with TAA and a 30 FPS limit.
Orders & Trading
- Added an Uphold column to the Trading Hub.
- Fixed scrolling in mail newsletters.
- Items placed in the café display are no longer counted as available in the Order Hub.
- Fixed item stacking in packages.
- Added a potential fix for an issue that could cause items to disappear from players’ inventories. We’ll continue monitoring this issue, so please let us know if you encounter it again.
Drones
- Drones can now be correctly removed from their stations.
- Fixed the drone quantity quest so it now counts drones correctly.
Quests
- Updated the Hot Pepper quest so players are no longer required to reach Level 2 with Hot Peppers to complete it.
- Added quest markers to the Secret Notes during the Pigment quest.
UI
- Updated soil bag icons.
- Improved item cards and subtitles.
- Adjusted the position of the top HUD notification.
- Improved the package slot grid.
- Fixed alignment issues in the Genetics Lab.
Visuals
- Added new textures for the Drone Station, Biopolymer Press, and Genetics Lab machine.
- Fixed the Galactic Cat material.
- Reworked LODs for drones and machines.
- Optimized drone skin textures.
- Fixed the lavender leaf model.
- Fixed floor collision issues in the DIY and Scout rooms.
