HEYO! Welcome to the September 2025 Funguys Swarm Dev Update!
First, we want to thank everyone for the support you've shown during our Early Access Launch! We had a good launch, and we really want to thank everyone for it!
This month, we'll be talking about Ersa and her skills, dive into the Sanctuary, and showcasing our second arena, the Frozen Pond. We’ll also give you a peek at what’s coming next, and wrap it all up with a surprise drop at the end.
Early Access Launch Progress
Our Early Access launch went great Over 400 reviews so far and sitting at a shiny 96% “Very Positive”!
Huge thanks for all the feedback — the good, the bad, and the weird. We’re taking it all in and already working on improvements.
Re-introducing Ersa
[Cute dance, Ersa!]
Meet Ersa, our little dewdrop hero. She’s squishier than Shroomba, but makes up for it with two regenerating shields! Take a hit, lose a shield, and watch it grow back while you keep fighting.
Character Special Skills: Stinky Trail
[Stinky Minky]
Arena Showcase: Frozen Pond
Brrrr… this used to be a cozy pond, but now it’s an ice rink of chaos. Slippery floors, frozen fish charging at you like torpedoes — try not to wipe out while you skate for your life!
Enemy 1: Slider
[Fast. Slippery. Slightly smug]
Enemy 2: Big Whale
[Heavy Ho]
What we've been working on:
We’ve been cooking up a new arena, a shiny new weapon system, and… something electric. Here’s a little sneak peek:
Arena Showcase: Lava Jungle
Watch your step! The Lava Jungle’s crawling with wild creatures, juicy fruits, giant bones, and oh yeah… lava that’s hotter than the Fire King himself!
Beep Bop Ze-ep
Something electric is coming (and slightly starchy)
What is new this month:
We’ve heard you love the tunes, so we’re dropping the Funguys Swarm soundtrack! Snag it in MP3 or FLAC for crisp beats.
