Hey everyone!
After months of hard work, level design, and countless difficult jumps, I’m excited to finally launch a fully playable Beta of Null Path! This game has been a labor of love, inspired by my passion for challenging platformers and puzzles alike. I wanted to create something that blends precise platforming with thoughtful and environmental puzzles, all wrapped in a minimalist, metroidvania style world.
About the Game
Null Path is a platformer with puzzle elements that puts you in control of a white, faceless clone navigating through a series of biomes. Each biome offers unique power-ups and challenges that push your platforming skills to the limit. Expect to face difficult jumps, environmental hazards, and brain-teasing puzzles as you explore an empty world filled with mystery.
I wanted the game to feel intuitive yet demanding—all the levels are designed to test both precision and problem-solving in equal measure. If you love tough but rewarding platformers, you’ll feel right at home here!
Features
Challenging Platforming: Precise, skill-based movement where every jump matters.
Unique Power-Ups: Each biome has its own set of abilities, adding depth to the gameplay and new ways to approach obstacles.
Minimalist Aesthetic: A clean, atmospheric world where the focus is on the gameplay and the journey of the faceless clone.
A Mysterious Story: While the narrative isn’t explicit, the biomes and environments hint at a larger backstory - who or what is this faceless clone, and where did it come from?
Why I Made This Game
I’ve always been a fan of platformers that test skill but also encourage players to think creatively. With Null Path, I wanted to push that idea further by introducing puzzle elements that work hand-in-hand with platforming mechanics. The concept of a faceless clone exploring different biomes came from my love of minimalist storytelling - letting players piece together meaning from their surroundings.
Thank You!
To everyone who checks out Null Path, thank you so much for your support! I’d love to hear your thoughts - feedback is super important so feel free to leave a comment or a review. If you manage to complete the game, I’d be especially curious to hear how you found the difficulty (and all of the eggs)!
Good luck on your journey through the biomes, and I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed creating it. 😊
Stay tuned for future updates, and join the discord (in profile) if you're interested in helping shape the future story of Null Path!
