Under Destruction — Update 1.0.0.4
This update took longer than expected because we wanted to focus on what matters most to us: making Under Destruction a deeper, more dynamic, and more strategic experience.
Update 1.0.0.4 introduces a new level, new enemy units, major gameplay improvements, expanded strategic systems, and the first implementation of cooperative multiplayer.
Our vision for Under Destruction has always been clear: the player must adapt, plan ahead, manage resources, and survive increasingly hostile situations. This update pushes the game further in that direction.
NEW LEVEL: Red Dune
A new level called Red Dune has been added, designed as the first step toward larger and more dynamic battlefield scenarios.
Set in a massive desert rich in Erythonite deposits, Red Dune constantly pressures the player through aggressive enemy activity, limited safe zones, and continuous combat situations.
Human forces actively defend the area using fortified outposts, armored units, and coordinated assaults. Surviving requires strategic expansion, territory control, and efficient resource management.
Red Dune introduces new combat situations, dynamic events, and high-pressure encounters designed to create less predictable matches with very few downtime moments.
NEW ENEMY UNITS
Two new enemy units have been introduced:
* Shahed Drones
* M1 Abrams
These units appear in both Black Hollow and Red Dune and significantly change the player’s tactical approach during combat.
Some encounters may feel extremely difficult at first impact, but Under Destruction remains a strategy-focused experience where preparation, territorial control, and intelligent unit management are essential for victory.
Gameplay and Strategic Systems: Several gameplay systems and unit behaviors have been reworked and improved.
Mechanic Units: Support “Mechanic” units have been optimized to improve resupply efficiency for allied units and the player.
A new and smoother remote-control camera system has also been introduced, improving readability and gameplay comfort while operating support units.
To make matches less predictable and more dynamic, the resupply system can now generate emergent battlefield situations that require direct player intervention and greater tactical awareness.
Mineral Collection: Mineral collection units are now faster and more efficient, but also more affected by environmental conditions and navigation, This makes economic management less automated and more strategic during advanced stages of gameplay.
Strategic AI: Several logical deadlock situations within the Human faction command systems have been fixed, the AI now reacts more dynamically to player actions through new strategic events and “action-reaction” systems, especially related to the deployment of the new enemy drones, this creates more aggressive, less predictable, and more varied battles over long play sessions.
EXPANDED BLACK HOLLOW
Black Hollow has been expanded with a new final human outpost that must be destroyed to complete the mission, large sections of the map have also been redesigned and enriched with new gameplay situations, combat paths, and strategic encounters.
SAVE SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
The save system has been significantly improved, the game can now be saved in many more situations than before, with greater accuracy when restoring the match state.
Due to the large amount of persistent data being processed, loading times may be longer than in previous versions, especially during advanced or highly complex situations.
MULTIPLAYER
Update 1.0.0.4 introduces the first implementation of cooperative multiplayer.
The current system supports:
* Steam Lobbies
* LAN Connections
* Direct Host/Client Connections
Multiplayer is still under active development and optimization, but cooperative sessions are already fully accessible for players who want to experience the game together, for the best possible experience, we recommend that the host player uses the most powerful PC available within the group.
New in-game monitoring tools have also been added to display:
* FPS
* Connection stability
* Network latency
We will continue improving synchronization, performance, and overall multiplayer stability in future updates.
GENERAL FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS
* Improved overall gameplay stability
* Optimized multiple AI navigation systems
* Improved dynamic strategic event management
* Fixed specific unit blocking situations
* Improved gameplay camera fluidity
* General improvements to allied and enemy unit behavior
Thank you all for the support and for the time you dedicate to Under Destruction.
We will continue developing the game around our core vision: a challenging, dynamic, and strategy-driven experience built around player decisions.
