Game engine: Unreal Engine 5
Number of players: Single player

TSAREVNA is the only game inspired by Alexander Pushkin's “The Tale of Tsar Saltan.”
It is based on archetypes, Slavic motifs, and folkloric magic, transformed into lore, mechanics, and storyline. Ballet here is not a metaphor, but part of the combat system: the heroine's movements were choreographed together with the prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theater.
The world of Tsarevna is a whole mythology brought to life in game form.
Here you will find:
Encrypted archetypes, myths, and forgotten rituals.
The famous island of Buyan — the pearl of the Kavstrian Sea, where East meets West, fairy tale meets dark fantasy.
Recognizable characters: from Koschei to pagan gods, in a new and interesting reinterpretation.
And, of course, Bayun — a fluffy cat who knows much more than he lets on.
What makes Tsarevna unique?
We have combined the classical art of ballet with the poetry of Alexander Pushkin and modern video game technology. At the heart of the story is the magical island of Buyan, guarded by Tsarevna-Swan — a symbol of beauty, wisdom, and magic. The main character's movements are recorded using motion capture technology, with ballet performed by Bolshoi Theatre prima ballerina Alena Kovaleva. This allows the character to move with true ballet grace without losing the dynamics of combat gameplay.
This is a unique project for those who appreciate fairy tales, and modern gaming technology.
We are not just creating a game — we are building a cultural bridge between the past and the future.
Add Tsarevna to your Steam wishlist. We will continue to share details about the game's development.
