Hi there!
TLDR
The demo is written with all of its cut-scenes and game logic.
A little polishing and testing and the demo will be publicly released soon.
The demo consists of the first level of the game, along with the training level.
Current status of the demo
What's done
Everything you see in the prototype plus:
- Designed the interior and exterior structure of the castle that will appear in the demo.
- Found voice actors for the 5 characters that will appear in the demo.
- Received 100% of the demo voice lines.
- Polished the directional combat mechanism.
- Added timed combat mechanism.
- Added shields.
- Created a tutorial (training) level.
- Finished cluttering the demo level and applied all game logic to it.
- Added bows and arrows (and enemy archers to use them).
- Implemented all demo cut-scenes.
This actually means the demo level is ready. I just want to polish and test it well before making it public.
What I'm working on right now
- Polishing.
What's left
- Testing.
- Demo release!
Planning to release the public demo this month so - stay tuned!
Cheers!
