Hey, Capote players! This is the team from Luski Game Studios and CriticalLeap.
Carnival is here and our bar hasn’t stopped for a second! To celebrate the biggest party in the world hehe (and our participation in the Made in Brazil Sale), we’ve prepared an update that scores a perfect 10 in every category. Pull up a chair, order a cold one and check out what just came out of the oven:
📢 What’s New at the Bar?
New Character – Dona Lourdes: A true local from the neighborhood, she loves gossip and a good mess! Between handicraft classes at church, she never misses a round of Capote. Don’t be fooled by the homemade cookies: at the table, she shows no mercy!
Carnival-Themed Bar: Until February 20th, our bar is in full Carnival mode! Come play in a fully decorated festive environment.
Character Polish: We gave the crew (Antenor, Bete, Kay and Menó) a glow-up. Fixed visual bugs and those “capote flip” animations that sometimes blocked the table view. Now characters’ hands no longer clip through objects, plus several other improvements.
Technical Improvements Already Available:
We also listened to your feedback and brought essential fixes:
Added V-Sync and FPS Limit.
General optimization so the game runs smoothly, without “frying” anyone’s PC and with fewer visual bugs.
Capote at the Made in Brazil Sale
We’re very happy to announce that Capote is part of the Made in Brazil Sale (MiBS)! This event is a true celebration of Brazilian talent on Steam, showing that our game industry is stronger than ever. It’s the perfect moment to showcase our culture — and our card-table trickery — to the whole world!
👀 What’s Cooking in the Kitchen? (Sneak Peek)
Something very different is starting to take shape behind the scenes at the bar… Stay tuned, because a brand-new game mode is coming to flip the Capote table!
🧧 Combo!!! Chinese New Year + MiBS!
To top it all off, Capote is also part of the Chinese New Year Sale! This is your chance to grab the game with 20% OFF.
If you don’t have the game yet, now’s the time! If you’re already part of the house, send the link to that one friend who keeps losing every round. Let’s fill this table!
