Hello, renovators!
We’re thrilled to be able to share with you the latest update for Hozy, featuring the rest of the Game Plus Levels and our first version of Sandbox Mode!
Sandbox Mode
Yes, you read that right: the first iteration of the long-awaited and highly requested Sandbox Mode has arrived!
We are just getting started, so you’ll be able to expect further updates in future, including the ability to change the actual geometry of the room. We’d love your feedback and any suggestions on what you’d like to see added to the mode, so do share them on Steam Forums or Discord (link at the end of this post)!
Select your favourite flooring and wall options at just the click of your cursor, using various styles and colours to create the room of your dreams.
Then, select from any of the in-game furniture and decorative items to create something special. You can even scroll through the boxes and choose exactly which furniture you’d like to place!
Game Plus Levels
As we mentioned in our previous update, all of the rooms in Hozy now have a Game Plus variation, allowing you to experience a fun new side of each of the spaces!
So now, once you’ve finished Hozy’s main story, you’ll be able to reselect any of your previously completed levels and enter the Game Plus version of the room, with totally different furniture (and occupants!) than the original one.
Choose What to Unpack 👀
We’ve been keeping a close eye on feedback, and we noticed that a lot of you would like more of a choice in which pieces of furniture to unpack from each of the boxes, so now you will have a new setting available to allow you to scroll through each of the items in a box and decide which you’d like to take out first!
We hope this will make it easier for you to create the cozy room of your dreams, and can’t wait to see what you create!
That’s all we’ve got for you today, but don’t forget to share your screenshots with us on TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Threads, and Bluesky, with #MakeItHozy, and join our Discord to keep up with the latest news!
