Autumn Update v0.9 is out now!
Passengers, we are thrilled to present you with the massive Autumn Update v0.9! We carefully reviewed your feedback following the release of the "Seeker" version (v0.8) and have done a colossal amount of work on bug fixes, balance, new content, and visuals.
The game world has become even more dangerous, beautiful, and deep. Here are the main new features of this patch:
📝️ A Monumental Graphical Leap: A Living World and Deep Core-Level Physics
We have completely reimagined the game's graphical and physical components. What was considered the absolute maximum on "Ultra settings" in v0.8 has now become the basic minimum quality standard in v0.9! And most importantly, thanks to deep engine optimization, we managed to achieve this visual fidelity with virtually no increase in system requirements.
The world is no longer just a backdrop. Now, weather, soil, water, vegetation, and combat actions are linked into a single interactive ecosystem at the physics core level:
Dynamic weather and a living atmosphere:
• Full weather cycle: clear sunny days smoothly transition into cold blue nights, sudden storms, thunderstorms, and pouring rain.
• Dynamic clouds and wind: wind gusts are now physically tangible—they disperse fog, create waves in the grass, and sway treetops.
• Realistic optics and lighting: raindrops realistically refract and distort the space in front of the screen, while lightning flashes illuminate the horizon with realistic crepuscular rays.
Combat destruction and environment deformation:
• Soil deformation and the scars of war: heavy explosions now leave craters, deform the terrain relief, and scatter dirt and debris.
• Flora burns and destruction: trees don't just break anymore—they receive realistic thermal burns from fire, char from large-caliber projectile impacts, and physically react to shockwaves.
• Next-generation interactive grass: the grass cover continuously reacts to what is happening. Grass flattens and gets pressed down under heavy downpours, hugs the ground from sniper shots, and scatters in pulsating waves from hurricanes and the engines of low-flying gliders.
Hydrodynamics and water physics:
• Living water: projectile impacts, falling debris, and vehicles flying over the surface create volumetric splashes and expanding physical waves.
• Atmospheric perspective: the distant water surface now dissolves into thick fog and atmospheric haze, creating a colossal sense of depth and map scale.
Anomalous terraforming:
• Anomalies are no longer isolated—they aggressively mutate the environment around them. Acid fogs poison vegetation, spatial distortions bend light rays, and quantum pulsations affect the very structure of the landscape within their area of effect.
The cinematic feel of every battle:
• Added a dynamic Depth of Field effect when aiming or inspecting vehicles in detail.
• Introduced smooth cinematic cameras for key story and combat moments.
📝️ Living and Dangerous Anomalies
Anomalies are no longer just static zones. They are now generated entirely dynamically, have no fixed positions, and are capable of terraforming the area around them. New types of threats have appeared, such as the Acid Anomaly, which emits a caustic, toxic fog. If several different anomalies appear in one place at the same time—expect serious trouble. But the risk is worth it: Researchers can extract unique technologies from them (now instantly, without unnecessary shooting!). We've also added events featuring Quantum Cubes that affect the spatial grid—studying them can grant you a random glider.
📝️ Arsenal, Controls, and New Threats
The fleet has expanded! Around 10 new player units have been added (including the powerful Tesla Glider with an arc cannon), along with about 10 new enemy types.
We have improved the control physics: auto-stabilization has been disabled during manual glider piloting for greater control, and realistic head rotation limits have been added to the cockpit mode.
Among the enemies, you will face:
• Golem — a terrifying walking Qubit unit that uses melee attacks and devastating telekinesis (it now pulls in even trees!).
• Teleporting Qubits — will force you to completely rethink your combat tactics.
• New bosses, including the Meta-Zombie with super-evasion and the Big Boss, who is capable of summoning a black hole right in the sky.
📝️ Survival Mode 2.0 and Shared Progression
Survival Mode has become much deeper. Now, each new wave not only increases the difficulty but also offers random mini-quests. By completing them, you can earn rare rewards and unique units.
An important balance change: Resources, Tech Level (TE), and Quantoplasma are now shared between the Story Mode and Survival Mode (saved in real-time).
📝 Expanded Localization
We continue to break down language barriers! The game is now fully translated into 18 languages:
Russian, English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), German, Dutch, French, Italian, Japanese, Kazakh, Korean, Kyrgyz, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish!
Removed and Reworked:
We have gotten rid of the excess: the outdated bot controller, free camera, and many other features that needlessly complicated the gameplay have been completely cut.
Thank you for staying with us, sharing your feedback, and helping make the game better! Jump into the game, assemble your perfect squad, and try to survive the next wave in Survival Mode. Good luck, passengers!
