A huge new update for Finnish Pub Simulator has been released. You've finally sold your pub in North America and moved to a nice cozy Finnish country town. Congratulations on your new purchase!
Changelog
- Sold your pub in North America and moved to a nice cozy Finnish country town
- The following are no longer part of the game:
- Bar Taps
- Kegs
- Drinks Cupboard
- Replaced kegs with a blue crate that holds 24 bottles (these are also cheaper)
- Reduced the quantity of some alcoholic beverages to account for the keg change
- Updated the packaging for all alcoholic beverages so that you can both see the contents inside the packaging and see it visually empty or fill up
- Replaced the drinks cupboard with a static drinks cupboard that is always behind the bar and doesn't need purchasing
- Updated both the fridges and the drinks cupboard so that you can see their contents, which will accurately reflect what has been placed inside of them
- Updated the drinks glass model to actually be a glass instead of a small vase
- Updated inventory ordering to use a phone instead of a stack of books
- Removed the "WE ARE CLOSED/OPEN" sign in favour of opening/closing the front door of the building
- Updated the spawning logic for purchased items to include a random delay
- Replaced the radio with a jukebox
- Improved pub closing logic so that you can now close the pub when everyone is outside of the building - no more waiting for them to despawn!
- Updated the drinks tray so it can now hold 9 glasses instead of 5
- Updated tutorials
- Updated NPC speech with Finnish voice overs and new voice lines (which will reflect the type of character they are portraying, such as: drunk, old, feminine, etc.)
- Fixed the order inventory menu showing in-appliance totals as bottle count rather than millilitre quantity for anything inside the drinks cupboard
- Various QoL improvements
Important note for those of you with existing save files
Due to the massive change that 0.4 brings you will notice the following when you load an existing save file for the first time:
- All of your fridges, drinks cupboards, bar taps, and tables will be gone (you will receive a full refund for these)
- All of the contents from your fridges and drinks cupboards will slowly appear next to you
- All of your kegs (both empty, in bar taps, or in your inventory) will be converted into the blue crate with all 24 bottles
- All of your boxes with alcohol in will also slowly appear next to you, with quantities being adjusted if needed
This will be a one-time occurrence for each save file, and when the game next saves at the end of the day it will permanently be moved over to save file version 4.
