Back in December, I had to make the tough call to put Nightclub Architect on hold. It was a lights out moment for the project, but as it turns out, I just needed to rethink the entire development plan.
I’m back, and development is officially resumed.
During this break, I didn't just sit around. I looked at the core concept, analyzed what was working and what was dragging the game down, and decided to overhaul several key aspects of the gameplay and development process.
Many systems have been rewritten from scratch to ensure the game is flexible and ready for future expansion.
I’ve changed how I approach development to make sure updates are more consistent and meaningful.
And the most important.
Focusing the Scope: I’ve decided to narrow the initial focus to perfect the core mechanics first. Instead of trying to do everything at once, I’m building a solid, polished foundation.
Community-Driven Growth: This narrower scope will allow me to launch public testing sooner. I want to use your feedback to guide the next wave of content and improvements. We’re going to build this empire together, one floor at a time.
This isn’t just picking up where I left off; it’s a fresh start with a much clearer map of where we’re going. The club is under new management (well, the same management, but with a much better plan).
Thanks for sticking around. Let’s get back to work.
