Hello everyone, I'm Gon, Game Design Director of Grid Tactics: Duel.
After several months of planning, development, and tuning, we are thrilled to officially launch our brand-new expansion today — Ocean 18.
This expansion brings 62 brand-new cards, each with a unique effect, all centered around the deep sea, deck manipulation, and a fresh tactical rhythm.
New Mechanics
◆ Shared Deck
Have you ever wondered what a match would be like if you shared the same deck with your opponent?
In Ocean 18, the Shared Deck has both players battling over a single deck. You can manipulate the deck, change the draw rhythm, and even disrupt your opponent's upcoming plans.
◆ Armor
Armor blocks incoming damage.
Unlike HP, Armor has no maximum cap. Used well, it lets you build an overwhelming line of defense.
◆ At the Start of the Match
Simply place certain cards into the deck, and their effects trigger automatically when the match begins.
These cards add more upfront strategy to deckbuilding, letting the mind games quietly begin before the match even starts.
Cards featuring these new mechanics can all be collected in Ocean 18.
Get ready to dive into the deep sea, complete your collection, and bring your opponents a shock from the azure stars. 🌊😎
