Hello everyone,
today I want to talk a bit more about my new game project, working title Bug.Splash TD : Bastion
For this purpose I thought it might be good to do a little comparison with the current game, so here we go:
Concept:
New: The game is planned to be an incremental, tower defense roguelike. Meaning you will challenge the same map(s) with a few changes everytime, trying to figure out strategies to survive longer every run
Towers:
Recurring: The game will feature 24 different towers
Removed: Tower items
New: There wont be a tower loadout, meaning you can use ALL 24 TOWER TYPES AT ONCE! In addition towers now got an ability to individualize them even more. There will also be new systems to upgrade, individualize and advance your towers to replace the tower item system!
Enemies:
Recurring: Elemental enemies with special defense stats and immunities
New: Enemies are planned to emerge from 8 different spawns, increasing the total number of enemies on the map to around 120 at maximum
Drones:
New: Drones are a completely new defense type and are meant to be mobile and agile defenders. Different kinds of drones are planned
Drone preview (remember; its a very early state!):
Thats it for today!
Have a nice weekend
Cheers
