In our last news, we postponed our Early Access release for several reasons and one of the main one was that we received a huge amount of valuable feedback for our latest playtest. We could not be more proud and honored to have such dedicated players and we can only work on shaping the best game experience for you as our thanks for this.
That is why we've worked these past weeks on bug fixing, QoL improvements, visuals changes to deliver an experience that lives up to your expectation, especially by taking into account your suggestions and try as much as possible to make most of them fit in Ex Sanguis.
Since our latest playtest was such a huge help for us, we would like to reiterate the experience once again before our Early Access (set for Q3 2026), that is why our playtest is now open for TactiCon!
What is this playtest about?
This playtest contains many changes and rebalancing regarding missions, skills and Stillae.
Here are a few changes that were made in this playtest version:
Balancing attacks and enemies (for example Demonic Burt/Cataclysm damage increased, Potentat enemies health slightly increase, first boss health increased...)
AP rebalancing (for example some AP cost have been increased for certain skills)
Bug fixing (for example sfx not playing for instant skills, fixed issue with inner move not being burst accurate...)
Changes regarding the meta-upgrade unlockable Skills for certain skills;
Tweaked Meta-upgrades costs: early nodes don't ask as much Resource 1 as before;
Locations now give a bit more of their not-main-resource;
Update on Stillae visuals/texture;
Fixed some skills descriptions and actions (Time Vessel description indicating "Self" instead of ranged Circle, Time Vessel not applying Chaotic Flux to the caster);
Balancing on battle map spawns (for example reduced the amount of cocoons, lowered chance of Seraphin spawning);
Balancing of Talents distribution (rarity balance with common slightly more frequent, Twin Kick rarity increased from Common to Rare, Teleport rarity increased from Common to Epic, Vacuum Anomaly (Gravity Vortex) rarity increased from Rare to Epic, Parry rarity increased from Epic to Legendary);
Balancing on Tempestar Stillae (for example: Tempestar starting skill changed from Voltstep to Electric Gale + Tempestar health increased from 65 to 70)
.... And other changes that we let you discover while playing!
