Hello warriors!
Waging war in the medieval world is thrilling and demanding. One always need more weapons and armors, as well as man at arms to serve for the cause. From now on, you can easily get new members to your guild with the recruitment boards! They allow you to set several requirements for the newcomers, so now you can define the target of your recruits. It’s also a great help for every new player, since they will no longer have to search for a guild on their own!
There are several gameplay and balance improvements too, as well as many fixes to reported bugs. Check them on your own!
See you in battle!
Changelog v.0.8.7.6
Balance Improvements:
– Introduced the first iteration of the guild recruitment board to let players find and join a guild easier; the boards have been placed in the capital city of each nation and in the key points of the quest areas to give new players access to it even from the first moments in-game, as well as to give more opportunities for recruitment for the smaller guilds; we’ll expand them in the very next updates with the guild’s info, such as level, ranking position, main language, members count etc, as well possibility to access the rankings window by interacting with the board
– Introduced the guild recruitment offers displayed in the guild recruitment board, in which a guild can set several requirements for the newcomers: minimal level, minimal reputation and entry fee; a recruitment offer can be created in the Guild window, please also note that the boards display only the guilds from the the same nation
– Moved the old animals’ events closer to the capital cities of each nation in order to provide access to materials obtained from the old animals to all nations, so this way playing in a nation which is less populated gives better chance to hunt an old animal; now these areas are where the Blood of the Beast is most likely to be obtained
– Expanded the anti-cheat system with new mechanics which spawns an NPC enemy at the player’s position if they are recognized as a bot farming resources; it’s a first iteration of this mechanics so it may occasionally happen that a regular player will trigger the NPC’s spawn, though it’s a weak enemy which will be no challenge to a real player, in contrary to a bot, and they drop loot like normal NPCs so it’s not a punishment for a real player
– Replaced the standard Pine nodes in the Sangmarian starting quests with the poor ones to make them balanced with the other factions’ quest areas
Quality of Life Improvements:
– Reduced the gate’s opening time in the Forgotten Path world event (bonus stage with a sword) and increased its’ durability
– Improved animation of rotating a character which is armed and standing still
- Improved key bindings options
Fixes:
– Fixed an issue causing increasing the current stack of the time-limited Traitor status while logging in
– Fixed an issue which used to break a deposit tab’s functionality in some cases
– Fixed an issue causing that some players joining the siege events were put in an empty party
– Fixed an issue preventing players from interacting with the upgrades scaffolding after moving far away from it and coming back
– Fixed an issue allowing to equip items while swimming
– Fixed an issue causing that a player could use 2 interactive objects in quests/events at once in some cases, causing further problems with these quests/events
– Fixed an issue causing that the quests and events markers were overlapping the flags in the Logistician’s map, preventing players from selecting them
– Fixed an issue allowing to move to a location by clicking on the Logistician’s map after walking away from the Logistician
– Fixed an issue causing that the current offers counter in the Market used to be displayed multiple times
– Fixed displaying the buff’s duration time if it’s longer than 24h
