Hey all, Toby here.
I am no longer able to do anything to support this game. I apologise in advance for anyone who expected this to receive further updates. The game is free thankfully so I at least haven't damaged wallets with this. If you like the game, it will continue to be in your library for the foreseeable future. Otherwise, it has been a pleasure to try, and I am sorry for disappointing players expecting features like achievements, localisations in other languages, and features like the championship mode.
The reasons why I can not continue to support this game:
University is nearly wrapping up for me, with my course ending in May 2026 this year.
The game is free and is not financially viable for me to support properly without a job.
The reception of the game has been poor critically, and the points are totally valid. Why should people play this when there are better alternatives?
This game was built on an awful code-base to work with, meaning that making changes to the game does take as long as it has done in the past.
All of these factors combined have led to this game being more and more difficult to work with as features have been haphazardly thrown onto the top of the project, as well as issues with both optimisation and visual fidelity leading to problems I can not solve at my current (lack of) skill level.
Thanks for all the memories, keep it on the road.
