Good day to all, I am Aaron, the solo developer behind "TOWST: The One Who Sees Things".
I am sorry to say that development for the game is on hold until further notice.

I will be moving to a new apartment next month, in February, and right after it still in February or March, I will relocate to a different country. New job, new language, a lot of bureaucracy. It is something me and my wife have been wanting to do for a very long time.
Physically, I won't even have my computer with me so it will not be possible for me to continue even if I wanted.
This game development journey started for me on the eve of turning 30 years of age, I wanted to make something and also see if it could have an alternative income (since saving money on a non-skilled paycheck is hard), but I never went full in, and I still don't want to "I quit my job to go into gamedev". I have other priorities, this is a passion (big passion) project, but not my main priority.
This likely mean that any plans for a 2026 release will slide forward and forward. Obviously unknown when I will be able to resume development, and thus when the game could release.
In the meantime, I wanted to reassure everyone in relations to "where" I am, in regards to socials: not because I want you to follow me, but because I wouldn't want you to fall for scams.
I often see on reddit people posting "someone created a webpage for my videogame" or "someone created a mobile version of my game".
These are 99% of the times scams or defrauding attempts.
he only official channels are here on Steam, Bluesky, Discord and email.

(this information is also accessible on the right handle of the steam store page)

No ios or android, no web/browser. No Itchio or gog. No self hosted websites. No gmail, no twitter, no paypall and certainly no cashapp. Also no keys on key reseller sites. No NFTS or crypto or blockchain. Good time to mention also no generative AI. Be vary of someone called "aronkos" telling you they have a copy of TOMST. Or "theonewhoseethings" "theonewhoseesthing" "the1whoseesthings" or "microslop". None of these is right.
If you do encounter any of these malicious attempts, please do not engage them and do let me know so that I may be able to issue a warning to everyone to the best of my ability.
Even if the game is still in an "early" phase (still no trailer) scammers don't wait around, and safety is extremely important, especially in this period where I will not be able to monitor things.
If I will add any new services/platform, I will write an announcement here. I hope none of my accounts above will be compromised. Steam should still be the safest, so be vary if my bluesky account suddenly start spamming crypto stuff.
The light at the end of the tunnel.
Until development resume, I wish you all good luck and a good time.
