Between the Lines has been selected for the first-ever Steam Debut Festival!
The Steam Debut Festival, organized by the GameDev.ist team, is an event dedicated to showcasing and supporting indie developers who are working on their very first game (like me!). It's a huge honor for Between the Lines to join a lineup of so many creative and exciting new titles!
Demo scheduled for Fall 2025
I'd also like to take this opportunity to share that the game's demo is currently in development, with an expected launch in Fall 2025.
You will soon be able to pick up that good ol’ T9 phone and confront the awkward, heartfelt words of the person you used to be. Shape your own story with the replies you choose!

About Localization
Please note that this is a solo-developed game. While I'm comfortable with English (e.g. writing this post), localizing a narrative-heavy game is a lot of work. As such, the demo, as well as the initial release, will unfortunately only be available in Chinese. English localization may be considered after the full release of the game, depending on player interest, sales performance, and available resources.
