Hey, guys! After some time we are getting back to you with new news, we have given ourselves quite a lot of work over the last month with visual upgrades and progress, so let's see what's new.
🔪Tobacco preparation
As we stated in the previous newsletter, we are working on the tobacco. We weren't completely happy with our first demo, so we wanted to improve it both visually and mechanically.
One of the first things we wanted to change was the visual of the tobacco, we were not happy with the way it looked. Kay, our graphic designer, went to great lengths to create different visuals that have the ability to recolor, have custom particles and help maintain that visual consistency. We currently have 3 stages, raw, coarse and fine, which each have their own visual.

For me, the challenge again was to program it and design the interaction to make it friendly for you, the player. In the end, we came to the conclusion that the pad will be your workstation, where you prepare the tobacco, mix it and later load in. All of these things will happen at board level.

📦 Storage room
Every business needs a place to store things. We already had this place set up, but something was missing... variation! Besides having our heads buried in tobacco, we started looking at our storage system and how to give it a similar personalization method to the rest of the hookah lounge.
The warehouse is more about functionality, so we looked at expanding the types of shelving. Right now you'll be able to stack your warehouse with a classic rack, a box slide, a small item rack, or shelves.

As you buy boxes of tobacco, raw materials, boxes of furniture you don't want to sell yet, this variation will come in handy.
👀 What to expect next?
Sometimes it seems to be going at a snail's pace, but we are extremely happy and thankful that we are still getting wishlists and interest in our game. We're working on it with 3 people in our spare time, so it means a lot to us.
We'd like to finish the delivery system we've been using since last time, the warehouse, and move the tobacco preparation to the tobacco loading job.
Adam
