Play of the Match becomes a proper Overwatch-style highlight: it plays inside the series summary, re-creates spells, projectiles, pickups, animations and damage numbers, and now picks the most dynamic moment of the series. Around it: cross-faded summary screens, a clean rematch hand-off, an Extreme bot tier, and lobby banners that line up with the bodies.
Play of the Match
- The replay now plays inside the series summary as its own panel, layered above everything else, rendered at 1080p with anti-aliasing. Any button skips it; it fades out to reveal the score recap.
- The replay re-creates the whole moment, not just the fighters: every spell projectile, orb, wall, totem, pickup and death effect that was on screen is ghosted from its prefab and follows its recorded path. Cast bursts fire at the same instant they did live.
- Fighters replay their real animations: locomotion blends, casts, hits, rolls and deaths are recorded from each character's animator and played back on the ghost, instead of a speed-driven walk.
- Floating damage, armor and heal numbers pop over the ghosts exactly as they landed in the match, including hits on the featured player.
- New scoring ladder so the reel is always the most dynamic play. Kill sprees rank highest (double, triple, quad, killing spree), then a plain kill, then cheating death (alive after dropping to 15% health), then a clutch recovery (back above half health within 10 seconds), then a spell frenzy (four or more casts in five seconds with landed hits), and objective plays last. Standing on a relic can no longer beat a fight.
Series Summary
- Screens now cross-fade instead of cutting: the replay fades out while the score recap fades in, and the recap fades out while the accolades slam in.
- Rematch no longer flashes the finished match. The summary stays up, the screen fades to black, the new realm loads behind it, and the pre-round enhancement vote fades in from black.
- Team enhancement slots never show white squares. Enhancements without art use the default enhancement icon, and empty slots stay hidden.
Bots
- Four difficulty tiers: Easy, Normal (default), Hard and the new Extreme. Extreme bots hit for 150%, cast almost constantly, spot you from further away and carry 35% more health. Every tier now scales health as well as damage, cast rate and reaction time.
Lobby
- Player and bot name banners are listed in seat order, so names always sit above the right bodies. The first occupant joins section 1; the old middle-seat swap is gone.
