Ahoy, Captains!

This update introduces a new system focused on bringing better metaprogression to the game.

Many players told us that Ancient Coins were too difficult to earn, making it hard to unlock all ships. We also received feedback that defeated runs could feel a bit unrewarding.

To improve this, we have added the Ancient Coin Gauge. As you earn score during a run, the gauge will fill up. Each time it fills completely, you will earn one Ancient Coin, which can be used to unlock new ships and strategies for future runs.

The gauge fills once for every 5,000 score earned during a run.

So sharpen your cutlasses, load the cannons, and set sail once more — the plunder is now bigger than ever, even when the sea gets rough!

Thank you for playing and supporting the game.
