Hi everybody! I want to apologize to anybody who enjoys the achievements/records, this is a patch that is resetting that progress but with a better system, the original was a prototype I made when I first made the game, and it was very difficult to manage. Sorry about any folks that lost their records! This doesn't affect anything progress related.
New - Records System Overhaul, you can now hit TAB to open the records which will list how many fish you've caught in the biome
New - Pet disable option for people uncomfortable with dogs (I plan on adding more pet options later as well but just limited time/resources)
New - You now have the ability to hold E to do a 'Vaccume pickup' which picks up any objects that aren't on a shelf in your inventory. This can help deal with picking up fish that get stuck in a unreachable spot
New - Gain/Gamma/Saturation options now added to options
New - Invert X and Y controls now added to options
New - Monitor select is now available in options (Hopefully this works)
Change - The shop sign is longer and now supports up to 25 characters instead of 14 now!
Change - New games now start off with 1 pond bait, so people that don't understand the bait-pack opening can immediately try to fish first
Bug Fix - Fish Scale - If placing a fish and quickly placing another fish during the animation, you could accidently get two fish on the scale at once
Bug Fix - in rare incidents Fish become unselectable anymore - I've put in a script to check for any fish that aren't in your inventory or on a table to make them grabbable again - It does this on a game loading so if you ever encounter the issue, save and reload and hope this helps!
Bug Fix - Grouper Fish - Would play the splash sound every time loading a game, fixed this cursed fish
Bug Fix - Reeling - Reeling sound would play when you left click while paused, fixed now!
Bug Fix - Money counter would keep ticking forever if you paused during that moment, no longer cursed inifnite sound
Bug Fix - Shop Light for the rounded one, had the wrong icon
Bug Fix - Entering too many numbers into the debt payment input would cause a crash
Bug Fix - Foil Poison Sardines would change back to normal after saving
The vacuumed pickup is really basic right now, but hope this helps with some QOL and grabbing fish that get stuck
