Howdy chefs! Big news, the massive update is content complete! If all goes well, you should be seeing the brand new update for Wasteland Kitchen dropping very, very soon. We're talking days not weeks, so get your knives sharpened and ready!
Some of what to expect:
- Settings! So many new settings to tweak performance and gameplay, way better than the tiny menu currently in game
- Keybinding support, one of the most consistent requests I've seen
- Performance seems to be a lot better in spite of more in the world
- A brand new intro and tutorial experience
- Customizable new game settings to make each run tuned to your preferences
- Explorable locations (with more to come)
- A fuller world, not just a bus and road in the desert, but actual shit
- Bandit, traps and roadkill spawn in the world when not cooking
- Loot! A full grid based inventory system and a world of containers to go through
- Crafting is now how you assemble your recipes and build your tools
- You'll need resources, so most of the world can be harvested with the right tools
- So much more, and a full breakdown will be posted on launch!
Thanks to those who stuck around, I can't wait for people to try this out! Things are so close now.
