Hotfix - Input Device Recognition Update
Hello everyone,
We’ve released a new hotfix for Formula Legends addressing an issue related to input device recognition.
After the recent update focused on steering wheel support, some players reported difficulties using a gamepad.
This issue was caused by the game incorrectly identifying certain external peripherals connected to the PC (such as specific mouse models) as steering wheels. As a result, the game assumed a wheel was connected and disabled gamepad input.
With this hotfix, we’ve changed the device recognition method to prevent this forced input lock and allow proper use of gamepads regardless of other connected peripherals.
Please note that, due to this change, minor compatibility issues may occur with specific steering wheel models.
If you experience any anomalies or input-related problems, we invite you to contact us on Discord https://discord.gg/jwAfduUG, where we’ll be happy to help and provide the best possible support.
Thank you to everyone who reported the issue and helped us improve the experience.
