[Update] Time Snatcher Handy 1.1.1 Update

05 Mar 2026Developer post

Hello, Time Snatchers!

Update 1.1.1 has been implemented.

Added a quick retry feature. Hold the R key during play to use it; the key can be changed in the key binding settings.
Improved the item "Vending Machine Buddy" so that using it selects the nearest "Vending Machine Buddy".

Adjusted the effects and prices of items that were hard to use because of strong drawbacks, or that offered very little value.
1. Item "VIP Ticket"
  - Removed the effect that reduced Timeshard gain
  - Shop price: 40s → 50s
2. Item "Dreaming Graphite"
  - Changed so that collecting a medium Timeshard now grants a small amount of time in addition to Max Time
  - Shop price: 15s → 25s
3. Item "Dark Chocolate"
  - Time consumed per attack: 0.5s → 0.25s
4. Item "Cat Pawprints"
  - Changed to an effect that extends the duration of the confused state
  - Shop price: 5s → 10s
5. Item "Gray Smoke"
  - Attack power +0.05 per 1s of excess time, up to 10 → +0.1 per 1s of excess time, up to 12
6. Item "Bonus Gift"
  - Attack power +20% per item purchase, decaying over 30s → +40% per item purchase, decaying over 60s
7. Item "Thin Ice"
  - Now classified as a "Survival Aid" item
Adjusted obstacle destruction balance. "Handy" now destroys obstacles faster, while enemies destroy them more slowly.

Fixed an issue where the boss gimmick of "Chaser Cans" did not function properly while the item "Obsidian Scalpel" was held.
You can now move the sword dropped by "Chaser Cans" even while using the item "Obsidian Scalpel".
Fixed an issue where holding the item "Heptapod B Handbook" made it impossible to progress in rooms that require destroying obstacles.
If there are no enemies in the room, you can now choose the next attack direction manually.
