We are proud to release an update for the popular rougelite Warriors action game "WARRIORS: Abyss" available now. This update includes an additional 4 characters, including the legendary master ninja Ryu Hayabusa and 3 of his companions, new features and downloadable content featuring a variety of costumes.
With this update, aside from Ryu Hayabusa, Ayane, Rachel, and Momiji from the same universe will become playable characters. The addition of these characters, each possessing unique abilities, will further expand the range of strategic options available to players.
Furthermore, this update introduces two new game modes designed to create more enjoyable gameplay. The first mode, "Training Hall," challenges players to defeat Gouma under various conditions. Upon clearing it for the first time, players will receive rewards such as Karma Embers, Records of Sin, and an increase in the cumulative level cap. The second mode, "Void of Empathy," is a time-limited challenge where players strive to progress as far as possible before the timer runs out. Players must defeat powerful enemies to extend their time since the game ends when the remaining time reaches zero, pushing their skills to the limit.
Additionally, we have implemented a "Transcendence" feature, which significantly enhances heroes. Although it requires a lot of Karma Embers, this feature adds new emblems to heroes with few and alters the effects of their unique strategies that were previously limited in use. These enhancements are tailored to each hero, expanding strategic options. Since during use stats also increase, it’s a great help when attempting to clear high Traversal Levels.
New Game Mode "Void of Ephemerality " Added!
“The Depths and the Void" has been added to the Great Hall, from which players can select either "Depths of Torment" or " Void of Ephemerality." "Void of Ephemerality" is a mode where players challenge themselves to progress as far as possible within a limited time. To play, you need "Soul Records," which can be saved on the results screen after defeating Gouma once. Your performance in " Void of Ephemerality," will determine the amount of Records of Sins and Karma Embers you can earn.
New Game Mode "Training Hall" Added!
"Training Hall" is a mode where players aim to defeat Gouma under various conditions. Players are required to have defeated Gouma once to unlock this mode. Players can challenge themselves up to the highest traversal level achieved in normal mode and upon clearing each level they receive first-time clear rewards.
"Transcendence" Feature Added!
By using Karma Embers on heroes whom you have unlocked unique weapons in the Hall of Bonded Souls, you can perform a "Transcendence" to further enhance the hero's abilities. The "Transcendence" can also be undone, and in that case, all used Karma Embers will be returned.
Ryu Hayabusa
An unprecedented hero possessing three "Shinobi" emblems. His unique strategy, "The Dragon Ninja," increases the speed and attack rate of the controlled hero by 15%, an effect that applies to all heroes, making him valuable in any build. His Player Hero Trait, "Solitary Master Ninja," boosts the number of possessed "Speed" emblems by 50%, and with the unique weapon "Evil God Sealing Demon," the number of possessed "Vigor" emblems is also increased by 50%, making it significantly easier to gather the two types of emblems. His Summoning Skill, "Art of the Inferno," transforms fireballs into the form of a dragon when strengthening conditions are met, delivering powerful repeated attacks to surrounding enemies.
With excellent usability both as a controlled hero and a summoned hero, he truly lives up to the name "master ninja " and is expected to perform outstandingly.
Ayane
The Unique Strategy "Mugen Tenshin Style" increases the attack power of heroes possessing the "Speed" emblem by 50%. Its effect applies to a wide range of heroes, and since heroes with the "Shinobi" emblem almost always have the "Speed" emblem, this ability serves as a core asset when building a ninja-themed team.
Rachel
The Unique Strategy "Fiend Blood" doubles the attack power of heroes possessing the "Might" emblem. This ability is especially beneficial for “Independent” heroes such as "Meng Huo" and "Okuni." The Summoning Skill "Heavy Machine Gun" is a distinctive attack that fires numerous lightning-element bullets in a fan-shaped area in front of the user.
Momiji
The Unique Strategy "Heaven Breaker" increases attack power by 5% for each "Speed" emblem possessed. It is expected to perform well in "Speed" builds centered around strengthened "Speed" emblems. The Summoning Skill "Heavensong Bow" fires fire-element arrows that bounce off obstacles.
DLC
In addition, as paid downloadable content, we are offering the MASTER NINJA Formal Costume Set and the MASTER NINJA Legacy Costume Set, featuring characters dressed in unique outfits. Enjoy a different style of combat with these distinctive costumes.
