🚀 CATWIHAT v1.0 — THE BIGGEST UPDATE IN THE GAME’S HISTORY!
Hi everyone!
We’re incredibly excited to officially announce Catwihat v1.0 🎉
This is the biggest update in the game’s history and a major milestone for the project. Version 1.0 transforms Catwihat into a deeper, progression-focused and collection-driven experience, built for long-term play.
📘 IN-GAME FAQ
• Added a brand-new FAQ button directly in the game
• Covers the most common questions about gameplay and systems
• Important information is now available without leaving the game
🎨 UI & VISUAL IMPROVEMENTS
• Completely redesigned Collection layout
• Updated Equipment view — now displays 45 items at once
• Improved cat hover panels in Equipment and Collections
• Added rarity colors to cat descriptions
• Fixed overlapping text and readability issues
• Updated the game loading bar
• Improved overall UI responsiveness
🧩 MATERIALS & ARTIFACTS SYSTEM
• Added 88 new materials to the game
• Added two new Collection tabs: Materials and Artifacts
• Materials grant XP based on rarity:
– Common: 1 XP
– Uncommon: 2 XP
– Rare: 3 XP
– Epic: 4 XP
– Legendary: 5 XP
– Special: 4 XP
• Materials drop from specific cats
• Hovering over a material shows which cat drops it
• Materials will also be used for crafting in the next update
🎒 INVENTORY & QUALITY OF LIFE
• Added new Equipment tabs: Materials and Others
• Added cat search functionality in the inventory
• Added item sorting by quantity and alphabetically
• Improved XP loading speed — XP updates are now much faster
🐱 NEW CATS & CONTENT
• Added 6 new cats to the game
– 3 new cats added to the Item Shop
– 2 new cats added to the Drop Pool
– 1 Secret Cat (we won’t tell you how to get it 👀)
• Added 2 new backgrounds to the Item Shop
• Added 4 new achievements
🎯 DROP CHANGES
• Updated the drop pool to keep the game fresh
• Cat drops still occur every 3 hours
• Drop chance changes apply only to click rewards
(materials and other items obtained from cats)

💱 STEAM MARKET UPDATE
• Backgrounds can now be sold and traded on the Steam Market
🧪 RECIPES CLEANUP
• Removed recipe rewards from levels 6, 9, and 15
• Recipes will be available immediately once crafting is released
• This prevents unnecessary inventory clutter
• Invisible recipes in the Others tab can be safely removed
